Custody Nurse or Paramedic

In collaboration with the Police, you'll serve in custody suites, delivering healthcare to detainees. We are dedicated to ensuring the safety of detainees with round-the-clock coverage in the custody suites, in line with a schedule agreed upon with our client. Salary £41,500 per year; £1,000 bonus when completed 12 months service. Full time entails fixed shift working in a team rota pattern of 4 shifts on and 4 days off: 06:45 to 19:00 for 2 day shifts followed by 2 night shifts of 18:45 to 07:00. Average estimated overtime £3,500 per annum. NMC/HCPC Registration paid.

Responsibilities

Deliver healthcare to detainees in custody suites in collaboration with the Police; Ensure the safety of detainees with round-the-clock coverage in custody suites; Work flexibly across base custody suite and assigned region in Police Custody Suites and Force area; Provide exemplary care and develop clinical, forensic, and broader skills; Work fixed shift rota pattern of 4 shifts on and 4 days off: 2 day shifts 06:45-19:00 followed by 2 night shifts 18:45-07:00

Requirements

Minimum of two years' post-qualification experience in a patient-facing role within a relevant clinical setting (A&E, General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Acute Medicine, Prison Healthcare, or Ambulance Service); Driving licence; RN, RGN or RMN with dual registration (2 years post qualification, Band 5 minimum); Paramedic (2 years post qualification); Right to work, lived in UK with British Passport or ILR for 3 years+ and no gaps out of country more than 3 months; Subject to Police Vetting
