Customer Service Representative

Customer Service Representative at Circle K - Store 2743488, 5603 Babcock Boulevard, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15237, United States of America. Part time. Shift availability: Days (Weekdays + Weekend Availability Required). Hiring Range: $14.00 to $14.50.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt excellent customer service; Greet customers as they enter and thank them as they leave; Give assistance and offer suggestions or recommendations; Ring up all sales on cash register properly and accurately; Perform multi-function operation of fuel console, lottery machines, money order machine, telecom transactions; Maintain store facility cleanliness and equipment; Receive and verify vendor deliveries; Maintain adequate stock and rotate stock properly; Place advertising and pricing signage; Control merchandise, cash shortages, and other selling expenses; Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels and shift audits; Keep accurate cash, sales and inventory control records; Report incidents to Store Manager; Keep accurate shift and timekeeping paperwork; Attend job-related meetings; Provide regular and predictable onsite attendance; Perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred; Experience in retail sales preferred; Ability to accurately operate a variety of equipment that may include cash registers or scanners; hot or cold or beverage dispensers, and other machines or tools; Ability to work as scheduled including arriving to work on time; Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; Ability to perform the four (4) basic arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply and divide) preferred; Ability to perform essential duties and physical functions described below; Ability to work in the conditions described below; Ability to be exposed to cold or warm temperature extremes; Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead; Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds from ground to waist; Ability to grasp, reach and manipulate objects with hands for entire shift; Ability to push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds; Ability to reach overhead for objects; Ability to bend and twist at waist; Ability to communicate orally; Ability to operate a cash register and/or computer keyboard; Ability to stoop, kneel, squat, bend, push, and pull; Ability to work alone; Ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift; May require climbing a ladder to store and retrieve materials or place and remove signs
