Customer Service Representative at Circle K Store 2743109, 436 Lincoln Highway East, East McKeesport, Pennsylvania 15035, United States of America. Full time. Hiring Range: $15.00 to $15.50. The position includes essential duties in customer satisfaction, facility condition, merchandising, sales controls, financial controls, security controls, and administrative duties.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt, excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly and attentive manner; Greet customers as they enter and thank them as they leave; Give assistance and offer suggestions or recommendations; Ring up all sales on cash register properly and accurately, handling money, checks and other payments; Perform multi-function operation of fuel console, lottery machines, money order machine, telecom transactions; Maintain store facility condition and equipment by cleaning and performing general housekeeping duties; Inspect store facilities and equipment for safety, cleanliness, and proper working order; Notify Store Manager of equipment failure or maintenance/supply needs; Complete build-to’s for ordering/purchasing merchandise; Receive and verify vendor deliveries; Maintain adequate stock and rotate stock properly; Place advertising and pricing signage; Control merchandise, cash shortages, and other selling expenses; Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels and shift audits; Keep accurate cash, sales and inventory control records; Notify Store Manager of any sales, cash or inventory discrepancy; Follow Company guidelines for product breakage or spoilage; Report all incidents including employee/customer injuries, theft, property damage or improper sanitation to Store Manager; Report unsafe, unlawful or unethical conduct; Keep accurate records of shift and timekeeping paperwork; Provide regular and predictable onsite attendance; Perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager

Requirements

Ability to accurately operate a variety of equipment that may include cash registers or scanners; hot or cold or beverage dispensers, and other machines or tools; Ability to work as scheduled including arriving to work on time; Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; Ability to perform essential duties and physical functions described below; Ability to work in the conditions described below; Ability to be exposed to cold or warm temperature extremes; Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead; Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds from ground to waist; Ability to grasp, reach and manipulate objects with hands for entire shift; Ability to push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds; Ability to reach overhead for objects; Ability to bend and twist at waist; Ability to communicate orally; Ability to operate a cash register and/or computer keyboard; Ability to stoop, kneel, squat, bend, push, and pull; Ability to work alone; Ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift; May require climbing a ladder to store and retrieve materials or place and remove signs

Nice to have

High school diploma or GED; Experience in retail sales; Ability to perform the four (4) basic arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
