Data Analyst - AU

Responsibilities

Drive strategic insights by taking ownership of key analytical projects and translating complex data into actionable insights that inform business-critical decisions across multiple teams and functions; Optimise data architecture by enhancing the central data model for Eucalyptus globally, collaborating with analytics teams in the UK and Philippines to ensure scalability and consistency; Empower data-driven decisions by elevating reporting and dashboard capabilities, establishing a single source of truth for critical metrics, and enabling teams with self-service tools; Monitor performance and influence growth by tracking and analysing key initiatives, identifying trends, and uncovering growth opportunities from acquisition to retention and beyond

Requirements

2-5 years of data analyst experience, having created and owned end-to-end data products in consumer organisations; Advanced analytical thinking and tool proficiency, expert in SQL, Python, and Sheets, with a focus on uncovering drivers of business performance; Applied data science for commercial outcomes, skilled in statistical techniques, experimentation, and behavioural data; Comfort with ambiguity and a fast-paced environment, with curiosity to ask 'why?' and the ability to work at speed; Strong business and commercial acumen, getting to the 'so what' based on analysis; Attention to detail, with a high bar for 'correct' and the ability to identify when an insight can be relied on; Exceptional communicator who distils complex analyses into clear, actionable insights
