Data Architect Senior - Retail Architecture

As a Data Architect Sr within PNC's Retail Architecture organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Dallas, TX, or Birmingham, AL. This position will work with an extremely large, complex and foundational data streaming platform that supports making data available from many systems of record to all of our channel applications. Job Description: Designs, develops and optimizes highly complex, specialized data warehouses, with flexible and scalable data and ETL architecture, to support business users and Business Intelligence (BI) applications. Analyzes business intelligence data and makes recommendations for data warehouse growth and integration for the enterprise. Works with IT and business customers to develop requirements for designing the overall data warehouse architecture. Provides support and technical guidance to ensure architecture and framework are aligned with BI application needs. Leads and consults on the implementation and integration of data warehouses; ensures data is current and meets organizational quality and integrity standards.

Responsibilities

Requirements

University/college degree; Bachelors; Typically 8+ years of industry relevant experience; Experience with data streaming, specifically Apache Kafka; Experience designing data streaming pipelines; Strong communication skills; Ability to communicate at multiple levels (technology partners, business partners and leadership); Ability to understand business processes and predict the impact of data changes; Consulting; Data Architecture; Database Structures; Data Warehousing; IT Architecture; Logical Data Modeling; Organizational Leadership; Problem Solving; Requirements Analysis; Must not require employment visa sponsorship (PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT)
