Data Collections - Team Lead

We are looking for a hands-on and people-oriented lead for Data Collection & Operations to lead our growing Marketplace Data Acquisition team in our Pune office. This role is a blend of team leadership and active contribution to our daily data collection efforts.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and support a team of Data Collection Specialists; Ensure data is collected accurately, consistently, and on schedule from a variety of marketplace platforms; Develop and enforce SOPs and best practices for manual and automated data collection; Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and QA teams to meet business needs; Track team performance and provide regular feedback and training to elevate execution quality; Actively participate in data collection during high-volume periods or for complex sources; Monitor data quality, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to workflows; Contribute to planning and onboarding of new data sources and processes; Maintain adherence to security and confidentiality standards in all data operations

Requirements

4+ years of experience in data operations, content ops, or related roles; Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across teams and time zones; Excellent attention to detail and a passion for clean, reliable data; Working knowledge of tools like Google Sheets, Google Chrome, shared drives, and S3; Process-oriented mindset with an ability to document and improve recurring tasks; Comfort with troubleshooting and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have

1+ years of team leadership experience; Familiarity with eCommerce marketplaces such as Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Seller Center, or Flipkart; Exposure to Chrome extensions or automation tools; Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders including engineering and analytics
