Delivery Assurance Specialist

Responsibilities

Ensure smooth running of logistics processes in the BMW Group's international production network in series production; Initiating, preparing and participating in logistical problem-solving meetings; Cooperating with material control, quality and specialized purchasing; Planning, coordination and implementation of development measures in suppliers' process; Ensuring suppliers reach targets in regards to logistics maturity level; Visiting and evaluating suppliers and selecting them after project assessment; Responsible at group level across multiple locations and entities; Working in an international operating team and performing for other BMW Group entities

Requirements

Successfully completed studies in industrial engineering, business administration, preferably specializing in logistics and mechanical engineering, successfully completed vocational training in the commercial, industrial or technical field or a comparable qualification; Openness to travel - flexibility regarding business trips; Willing to work on-site during regular business hours; Several years of experience in a supply chain related position, preferably from an international environment; Business-fluent English; Knowledge of material planning and supply chain processes; Experience in working with ERP systems; Confident usage of MS Office; Team and communication skills; Structured way of thinking; Confident appearance

Nice to have

German proficiency; SAP familiarity; Experience in an international environment; Specialization in logistics or mechanical engineering
