Join our team as a Delivery Driver Assistant and help ensure safe, timely, and efficient deliveries while providing excellent customer service. About the Role: The Delivery Driver Assistant works alongside the Delivery Driver to complete deliveries and pickups in a courteous and professional manner, with a strong focus on safety and security. Please note that this role requires flexibility as the shift requires travel on a two-day route and overnight stay in a hotel.

Responsibilities

Assist with prompt and courteous pickups and deliveries; Load and unload the truck as required; Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately; Participate in meetings and training sessions; Ensure all paperwork is accurate and processed correctly; Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to locate and pick items for customer orders; Build and assemble customer orders accurately and efficiently; Verify the accuracy of picked orders and ensure that all picked orders are properly labeled and staged for shipping; Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient working environment; Collaborate with other team members to meet daily production goals; Maintain professional and positive communication with teammates, customers and store personnel; Report and document concerns promptly to the supervisor

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively throughout your full shift and move heavy items safely; Strong teamwork and communication skills; Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented; Flexibility to travel on a two-day route and stay overnight in a hotel
