Dental Assistant/Receptionist - Alstonville & Lismore

We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our teams across Alstonville Family Dental and Maven Dental Lismore .

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, working with patients and supporting the clinical team. We can offer stable, consistent hours across 2–3 days per week, making this a great fit for someone looking for ongoing casual work.

Working across both our Alstonville and Lismore clinics, your day will include a combination of dental assisting and reception responsibilities, including:

Responsibilities

Assisting dentists during clinical procedures; Preparing and setting up surgeries; Sterilisation and infection control; Welcoming patients and providing a warm, friendly experience; Answering phones and managing patient enquiries; Booking and confirming appointments; Processing payments and assisting with general administration; Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming clinic; Supporting the wider team wherever needed

Requirements

Friendly, approachable and patient-focused; Reliable and organised; Comfortable working across both clinical and reception duties; A confident communicator who enjoys working with people; Able to work well as part of a team; Previous dental assisting or dental reception experience is preferred , but we are open to the right person with a strong customer service background; Available to work 2–3 days per week with stable, ongoing hours
