Get Golfing CIO, one of the UK’s fastest-growing golf and hospitality operators, is looking for a Deputy Course Manager. The Deputy Course Manager position is an integral part of the club’s management structure and forms a very strong link between senior management and the greenkeeping team.

Requirements

flexible approach; self-motivated; natural leader of people; able to teach, train and guide members of the team with empathy, humility and patience; good greenkeeping skills; agronomic knowledge; reasonable understanding of Health & Safety, COSHH and other legislative matters; educated to a minimum NVQ level 3 or equivalent; PA1, 2 & 6a Spraying certificates; experience with irrigation maintenance, repair and use; knowledge of machinery maintenance; excellent communication skills & IT literacy; ability to lead and motivate staff, along with and in the absence of the Course Manager; minimum of 3 years’ experience as senior/first assistant or deputy; chainsaw certificate
