Director Global Safety Standards (Supply Chain)

We are looking for our future Director, Global Safety Standards - Supply Chain to join our Global Manufacturing Operations team. The role is offered as hybrid in Singapore, Tuas Crescent site with frequent travels. The Director, Global Safety Standards is the enterprise safety leader and architect for ResMed’s Global Supply Chain. This role defines, deploys, and sustains ResMed’s Global Safety Standards and Safety Management System, ensuring safety operates as a leadership-led performance system, not a compliance activity.

Responsibilities

Design the global safety operating system; Lead deployment at scale (standards → behaviour → culture); Create executive visibility and accountability for safety; Partner deeply with site leaders and global EHS teams; Assurance, auditing, and continuous improvement; Contractor and partner safety system; Own and govern global safety standards for the end-to-end supply chain; Ensure the Safety Management System operates as a scalable operating system, embedded into supply chain management routines.

Requirements

Deep EHS/safety systems expertise in manufacturing/logistics; strong grasp of global standards deployment; Proven principal-level program leadership: multi-site rollout, governance, influence without authority; Exceptional executive communication: can translate safety into strategic business risk and operational excellence language; Strong partnering approach works with (not around) site leaders and EHS teams; balances global consistency with local requirements; Change leadership capability understands adoption, reinforcement, and sustainment.
