Distribution Picker

Cycle Counter position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory data in our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and providing support as needed in the Inventory department. Requires daily Cycle Counting and inventory maintenance, packaging, film, condiment, trailers, and Finished Goods inventories. Ability to operator sit-down forklift.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate inventory data in WMS; Daily cycle counting and inventory maintenance; Accurate data entry and file maintenance in SAP and JDA; Follow proper documentation procedures; Interface with warehouse operations and production; Inventory variance review, research, and explanation; Report Peco Inventory weekly; Maintain files available for review; Utilize manual and automated material handling equipment; Transport stored items within warehouse; Communicate with production, scheduling, purchasing, transportation, and customer service; Practice and adhere to safety and hygiene guidelines; Keep work area clean and free of obstructions; Use computer to enter records; Support continuous improvement initiatives including 5S

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED and/or 2-year experience in a warehousing environment; Minimum 2 years experience in a warehouse position; Ability to operate sit-down forklift; Certified to drive material handling equipment

Nice to have

Previous experience with JDA or similar based WMS system; Previous forklift experience
