Dynamics 365 Developer - 2

Brown & Brown is seeking a Dynamics 365 Developer to join our team in Plano, TX. The Dynamics 365 Developer is a critical member of the Dynamics Delivery team within Brown & Brown’s Retail Software Engineering organization. You will play a crucial role in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of business applications built on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality software solutions to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and drive business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, designers, architects, agile evangelists, and other developers, to ensure the successful delivery of products that meet business requirements and align with industry best practices.

Responsibilities

Design, development, implementation, and maintenance of business applications built on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform; Configure, develop and maintain components for dynamics delivery; Model-driven and canvas apps; Plugins and custom controls; Power Platform tools including Power BI, Power Automate, Flows and others; Unit and integration test within automation framework; Lead, train, and coach the organization in Scrum adoption; Help teammates and stakeholders adopt an empirical approach to complex work; Remove barriers between stakeholders and Scrum Squads

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; Curious mindset to experiment and resolve functional and technical issues; Strong problem-solving skills for technology-related issues and complex business scenarios; Must be a hardworking individual who is detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive; Knowledge of C#, .NET, TypeScript, JavaScript or other programming languages; Experienced in working within an AGILE + DevOps process management methodology; Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively on teams; Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously; Excellent people and project management skills; Strong communication and presentation skills; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Core D365 Developer: 2+ years experience in D365 or related development environment

Nice to have

Solid understanding of insurance business processes and industry-specific challenges; Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, Power Platform, and Dynamics 365 customizations; Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions
