Early Childhood Behavior Technician

SparkJoy ABA, in partnership with Finni Health, is seeking high-energy, playful, and compassionate Behavior Technicians to provide ABA therapy to children with autism. Responsibilities

Provide ABA therapy to children with autism; Work 1:1 with children in a clinic or in-home setting; Use creative, high-movement methods to teach communication, social cues, and daily living skills; Collect progress data and collaborate with supervising BCBAs; Build trust with parents through parent training and consistent, upbeat communication

Requirements

Energetic, patient, and comfortable being 'silly' to engage a child; Previous experience working with children (daycare, camp counselor, teaching, coaching, or similar) is required; Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) with a passion for working with children are also encouraged to apply; Reliable transportation to travel to the clinic and/or client homes in the Ontario area; Passing RBT Certification within 90 days of hire is required; Must be comfortable working inside client homes, visiting neighborhoods within the assigned territory, and supporting clinic-based needs as required

Nice to have

Proof of completion of a 40-hour Behavior Technician training course; Active CPR certification
