Electrical Assembler III

Perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in marine equipment and systems. Test finished electrical units to ensure they meet safety and performance standards. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to guide installation and repair work.

Requirements

Proven work experience in electrical assembly; Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and blueprints; Ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues; Knowledge of programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) for automating and controlling electrical systems; Understanding of power distribution systems and their maintenance; Attention to detail; Good Communication; Maintain cleanliness, ensure safety compliance to include PPE adherence, safety policy adherence, and safe behaviors and conditions; Must understand basic terminology such as OSHA, DEP, and other regulatory agencies; Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment where designated, including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.

Knowledge of marine electrical systems and components; Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision; Strong attention to detail; Proven problem solving and decision-making abilities; Willing and able to be cross-functionally trained throughout the workstation to cover and fill in for absenteeism; Broad range of skill & working knowledge of work tasks plus working knowledge of related tasks; Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills; Must be willing to work extra hours required to assure timely completion of critical projects
