Electrical Engineer (PL)

Responsibilities

Support the design, analysis, and integration of electrical systems for test and operational environments.; Assist in the development and review of technical documentation, specifications, and engineering drawings.; Participate in troubleshooting, testing, and validation of electrical components and systems.; Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project requirements and objectives are met.; Contribute to the development and implementation of engineering solutions for system improvements and upgrades.; Ensure compliance with Air Force, DoD, and federal engineering standards and safety regulations.; Prepare and present technical reports, briefings, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements

US Citizen; Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and up to 3 years of relevant experience, OR; 6 years of relevant experience (in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree), OR; Associate’s degree plus 4 years of relevant experience (in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree).

Nice to have

Proficiency in electrical engineering principles, circuit analysis, and system integration.; Experience with engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar).; Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.; Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.; Familiarity with Air Force or DoD engineering standards is preferred.
