Electrical-Mechanical Co-Op Spring 2027

Work with a technical planning team to support the planning and installation of equipment and structure as required for new model integration, refurbishment, and continuous improvement projects. Projects will range from small upgrade and improvement projects (change management) to new model projects. Other tasks may include, but not limited to: design, project management, digitalization and scanning, CAD, simulations, programming, etc.

Responsibilities

Work with a technical planning team to support the planning and installation of equipment and structure as required for new model integration, refurbishment, and continuous improvement projects; Projects will range from small upgrade and improvement projects (change management) to new model projects; Other tasks may include, but not limited to: design, project management, digitalization and scanning, CAD, simulations, programming, etc.; Support planning and installation topics; Manage contractors to maintain schedule; Technical verification of installation; Creation of bid documents

Requirements

Major: Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering; Willingness to learn; Team player mindset; Self-driven to push projects and tasks forward; Good Communication skills; Problem Solving / Analytical skills; Organized and able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks; MS Office knowledge required; Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major); Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States; Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application; Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week); Transfer students must have a GPA from current university; MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT; Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term; Work term dates are January 11th – May 14th, 2027; Must be an enrolled student during all three rotations
