The Role

Working on an 8/6 FIFO roster, you will play a critical role in maintaining, servicing and repairing overhead cranes and lifting equipment across site operations.

Responsibilities

Preventative and corrective maintenance on cranes and lifting equipment; Detailed inspections across various makes and models; Fault finding and complex breakdown repairs; Repairs, modernisations and installations; Recommending and quoting repair solutions; Conducting accurate risk assessments before every task; Presenting safety and service reviews to customers; Working independently while supporting and mentoring other technicians when required; Crane experience is highly regarded, but most importantly, you bring strong electrical capability and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.; Awareness of ISO 14001 and 45001 standards.

Requirements

A-grade Electrical Licence; Must be based in Perth; Willingness to work an 8/6 FIFO roster; Current and valid Driver’s Licence; Strong commitment to safety and risk management; Confidence communicating with customers and team members; Working at Heights competency; Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket (desirable); Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work; You will be a team player who takes pride in your work, communicates professionally and represents the Konecranes and Demag brand with integrity.
