Electro/Mechanical Assembler

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Operator (Actuator Assembly) to join our manufacturing team in Houston, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and quality-checking actuator components with precision and accuracy. Responsibilities

Assemble actuator components according to technical specifications and engineering drawings; Operate assembly equipment and tools safely and efficiently; Perform quality inspections and measurements using precision instruments to ensure components meet specifications; Identify and report defects or discrepancies in materials or assembled units; Maintain organized work stations and ensure proper storage of parts and materials; Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment; Document production activities and maintain accurate records of completed assemblies; Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines; Troubleshoot minor assembly issues and communicate problems to supervisory staff; Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality

Requirements

Proven experience in assembly operations or mechanical manufacturing environments; Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions; Proficiency with precision measurement tools and quality control equipment; Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and zero-defect standards; Excellent organizational and time management skills; Manual dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination; Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to workplace safety compliance; Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented production setting; Basic computer literacy for documentation and record-keeping purposes; Preferred: Experience with actuator systems or similar mechanical assemblies; Preferred: Familiarity with manufacturing quality standards and best practices; Preferred: Experience with pneumatic or hydraulic systems
