Engineer

Green Valley Landfill Limited (GVL), a joint venture with Veolia Hong Kong & Macau, manages the South East New Territories (SENT) Landfill and its extension. GVL focuses on sustainable waste management, converting landfill gas into electricity, fuel, and synthetic natural gas.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive engineering support for landfill construction, ensuring adherence to design specifications and technical standards; Coordinate and manage project scheduling, conformance testing, and site construction activities to ensure quality and timeline compliance; Advise and supervise the relevant site personnel and contractors in the technical engineering aspects of the construction activities in a manner demonstrating safety, environmental and financial responsibility for the long-term operations of the facility; Perform ad hoc duties as required to support project success

Requirements

Degree holder in Civil or structural engineering or equivalent experience in construction project; Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; Holder of valid driving license (Class 1 and 2) & Construction Safety (Green Card) Certificate; Other qualifications relative to industrial field are preferred
