Entry Level Accountant

We're partnering with a well-established organization that is looking for an Entry-Level Accountant to join its growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on accounting experience in a supportive environment where you'll receive training and mentorship while building a strong foundation in accounting.

Responsibilities

Process high-volume accounts payable transactions; Review invoices and ensure accurate GL coding; Maintain vendor records and assist with W-9 and 1099 compliance; Generate checks and supporting payment documentation; Research and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies; Reconcile A/P aging reports; Assist with journal entries and month-end close activities; Work closely with internal departments to answer accounting-related questions; Support audits and other accounting projects as needed

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or graduating soon); Strong understanding of debits and credits; Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills; Eager to learn and grow within an accounting career; Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative; Previous accounting experience is a plus but not required—comprehensive training will be provided.
