Entry Level Business Support Specialist

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Support Specialist to join our team. This role will be essential in providing assistance to users, solving inquiries, and ensuring the smooth operation of in-house developed applications. The ideal candidate will be able to monitor and implement necessary administrative changes within the system and serve as a primary point of contact for technical and application-related support.

Responsibilities

Respond to and resolve user inquiries, providing timely support for in-house applications; Monitor and manage administrative changes within the system to ensure optimal functionality; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in the applications; Assist in the documentation of support processes, FAQs, and system updates; Provide end-user training and guidance on the proper use of applications when needed; Identify recurring issues and collaborate with the development team to improve the user experience; Assist in user account management and system configuration adjustments; Stay up to date with application updates and changes to ensure continuous system improvement

Requirements

Associates degree in life sciences, computer science, or another related science or engineering curriculum; Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship

Nice to have

Prior experience in a systems support role; Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written); Strong organizational, troubleshooting and problem solving skills; Capability to learn new software functionality and systems; Understanding of business process flow and design
