Escape Lounge Assistant General Manager

As Assistant General Manager at the airport Escape Lounge you'll lead front-of-house and kitchen teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence. Responsibilities

Lead a service-focused culture that delivers exceptional guest experiences, drives revenue and loyalty, maintains food and beverage standards, manages guest feedback, and ensures efficient daily operations; Support financial performance through effective P&L management, inventory control, waste reduction, cost management, vendor coordination, and clear communication of business results; Recruit, develop, coach, and engage high-performing team members while fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture; Ensure compliance with all company, health, safety, licensing, regulatory, and airport operational requirements

Requirements

Open availability required; Flexibility to support varying business needs is expected; 3+ years of experience in a hospitality, restaurant, retail, or catering leadership role (Assistant Manager, Shift Manager, or similar); Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences; Strong business acumen, including inventory management, cost control, and financial performance; Knowledge of food safety, allergen management, responsible alcohol service, and operational compliance; Experience managing high-volume food and beverage operations; Skilled in recruiting, performance management, employee relations, and talent development; Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills; Ability to prioritize, delegate, and adapt in a fast-paced environment; Comfortable standing and moving throughout the operation for extended periods; Proficient in Microsoft Office and other business systems; Ability to obtain and maintain any required airport security clearances
