Facilities Engineer (Data Centre)

Join an established Auckland data centre and help keep mission-critical infrastructure operating 24/7. This hands-on role is ideal for engineers from 24/7 operational environments who enjoy troubleshooting, working with large industrial plant and solving technical problems. You'll receive comprehensive training and gain exposure to electrical, mechanical and building services systems within a fast-growing industry.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain HVAC, cooling, power and building systems; Monitor BMS/EPMS and respond to alarms and faults; Troubleshoot equipment and support incident response; Coordinate contractors and maintain engineering records; Help ensure the facility operates safely and reliably 24/7

Requirements

Experience maintaining critical infrastructure within a 24/7 operational environment; Mechanical, electrical, facilities, maintenance, building services, HVAC/refrigeration engineering background or experience in manufacturing, hospitals, power generation, utilities, marine, or other critical infrastructure sectors; Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills; Commitment to safe work practices; Ability to work a rotating 12-hour day/night roster with paid on-call

EST registration advantageous; NZ Citizenship preferred due to site security requirements
