Facility Engineer

A Facilities Engineer is responsible for maintaining, operating, and improving building systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal facility performance, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Maintain, operate, and improve building systems and infrastructure; Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and security systems; Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules; Lead facility improvement projects; Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards; Monitor energy consumption and implement sustainability initiatives; Respond to facility emergencies

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Facilities Management, or related field; 3-5 years of experience in building operations or facilities management; Knowledge of building systems, codes, and regulations; Strong project management and problem-solving skills

Nice to have

Professional certifications (PE, CFM, FMP) preferred
