Field Service Engineer - Garage Equipment

A well-established and growing garage equipment wholesale business is looking to add an experienced service engineer to cover a regional patch, working on a catalogue of top of the range garage equipment. This role is focused in the Kent and Essex area, with travel further afield when required. You’ll be joining a team of 30 Service Engineers, supporting a wide range of clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with field service experience, either working on garage equipment or other transferrable service work. You’ll be exposed to a variety of equipment types, manufacturers, and customer environments, making this a varied and rewarding field-based position.

Responsibilities

Installation, service, maintenance and repair of garage equipment; Fault finding and breakdown response across customer sites; Planned preventative maintenance and inspections; Working on a wide range of equipment; Covering a regional patch

Requirements

Field service experience, either working on garage equipment or other transferrable service work; Previous experience working on Electromechanical/Hydraulic equipment; Could be from transferrable industries, eg a forklift engineer or car mechanic; Ability to work independently in a field-based role; Full UK driving licence; Customer-focused approach with strong communication skills
