FINANCE & REGULATORY REPORTING SPECIALIST (1-YEAR CONTRACT)

Responsibilities

Support project-related testing, migration validation, and implementation activities; Perform GL mapping, journal postings, reconciliations, and financial reporting activities; Assist in the preparation, validation, and reconciliation of data for regulatory reports; Prepare supporting schedules, working papers, and audit documentation; Monitor data quality issues, reconciliation breaks, reporting gaps, and project action items; Maintain project-related process, control, and procedural documentation; Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver project objectives and milestones; Oversee end-to-end AP and AR processes, including invoice processing, payment execution, customer billing, receipt application; Ensure transactions are processed accurately and in compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and internal policies; Undertake ad hoc assignments and other responsibilities as directed by Management

Requirements

A Degree or Professional Qualification in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline; 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in GL postings, reconciliations, and/or preparation of BNM statistical and regulatory reports; Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; Proficiency in MS Excel and Word; Strong attention to detail and affinity for working with numbers; Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform under pressure; A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills; Willingness to learn, with on-the-job training provided
