Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A

Plaid's Corporate Finance team leads company-wide financial planning, forecasting, and reporting, delivering strategic insights to internal and external stakeholders. We align financial goals with business objectives to support informed decision-making at the senior leadership and executive levels.

Responsibilities

Support company-wide financial planning, forecasting, and reporting; Deliver strategic insights to internal and external stakeholders; Align financial goals with business objectives to support informed decision-making at the senior leadership and executive levels; Work with Finance, Accounting, and business teams; Build models, dashboards, and workflows in Pigment with the systems lead

Requirements

3+ years of relevant FP&A experience, ideally in Corporate Finance, G&A support, or a broader FP&A role; An "act like an owner" mindset: taking initiative, following through on commitments, and asking for guidance when needed; Solid foundation in core FP&A activities, including month-end close, reporting, variance analysis, and forecasting, with exposure to annual planning and a working knowledge of accounting principles; Strong analytical skills and experience building or maintaining financial models; Clear communication and a collaborative approach, with the ability to explain findings, ask thoughtful questions, and build relationships with business partners; Curiosity about AI, automation, and process improvements, with an interest in developing systems skills

Nice to have

Familiarity with Pigment, Adaptive, Anaplan, or similar FP&A tools
