Financial Analyst - LATAM

At Insider, as a Financial Analyst, you will be an essential contributor to the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and innovation in our processes.

Responsibilities

Playing a pivotal role in monthly revenue and commission close procedures, including preparing journal entries, conducting reconciliations, and ensuring compliance; Collaborating with multiple departments to gather transaction information, investigate reconciling items, and address discrepancies; Managing account balances by reconciling, researching, and resolving discrepancies in accounts payable and receivable; Overseeing the invoicing process, including issuing invoices via municipal platforms or NetSuite and understanding taxation—how taxes are calculated based on revenue and the different types of taxes; Managing accounts payable, maintaining close relationships with the accounting team, and coordinating payment schedules; Handling accounts receivable, including the collection process, issuing formal protests for overdue invoices, and ensuring cash flow consistency; Conducting bank reconciliations to validate payments and outstanding balances; Developing and implementing financial policies when necessary to support the team and improve efficiency

Requirements

Holds or is finishing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Management, or a related field; Fast learner with a proactive, dynamic, and self-directed approach; Up to 2 years of experience in similar roles or a new graduate eager to learn; Detail-oriented and highly organized; Good understanding of how invoicing works, including processes through platforms like municipal systems or NetSuite; Understanding of taxation concepts, such as revenue-based tax calculations and tax types; Experience with accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets skills; Advanced English proficiency; Ability to work in a multicultural environment and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced startup environment

Nice to have

Familiar with SaaS companies (a plus); Spanish is a plus
