Responsibilities

Investment & Transaction Analysis; Support quarterly and annual financial reporting for German entities; Prepare and review reporting packages under IFRS, management reporting, and HGB / German GAAP; Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes; Analyse financial results, variances, and key movements versus budget, forecast, and prior periods; Support reconciliations between local statutory accounts, IFRS reporting, and management reporting; Coordinate financial reporting inputs between the German head office and finance teams in another country; Monitor intercompany balances, reporting consistency, allocations, and financial flows between Germany and other jurisdictions; Support internal controls, reporting discipline, and documentation of key financial processes; Capex & Refurbishment Project Monitoring; Monitor refurbishment, renovation and capital expenditure projects across the hotel portfolio; Track actual project costs against approved budgets and identify variances; Follow project progress against approved timelines and milestones; Review project spent against financing agreements, purchase agreements and approved business plans; Monitor contractor claims, budget overruns, scope changes and key project risks; Coordinate with project managers, banks, asset managers, hotel operations and external advisors; Prepare recommendations and escalation points where corrective action is required

Requirements

University degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Business Administration or a related field; ACCA qualification; Knowledge of IFRS and HGB / German GAAP reporting requirements; Strong analytical and financial modelling skills; Strong stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills; Ability to challenge assumptions and manage multiple projects simultaneously; German and English Language skills (at least C1)
