Food & Beverage Lead

We’re looking for a Food & Beverage Lead who thrives in both guest-facing and leadership roles. In this hybrid position, you’ll sometimes serve as a restaurant server, delivering warm, memorable service; and at other times step into a lead/supervisory role with a higher base wage to support operations—handling opening/closing, MOD coverage, and ensuring service standards are met across the restaurant, bar, and room service.

Responsibilities

Take and serve guest orders promptly according to service standards/SOPs; Engage guests with genuine hospitality and answer menu/beverage questions; Operate POS accurately for orders, payments, and check management; Ensure food and drink quality before serving; Complete opening/closing sidework and maintain clean, well-stocked stations; Supervise restaurant, bar, and room service during assigned shifts; Monitor service cues, resolve issues, and handle guest recovery; Execute opening/closing checklists, reconcile end-of-day paperwork, and submit shift notes/logs; Serve as Manager-on-Duty as scheduled; Lead pre-shift huddles, coach, onboard new team members; Uphold health, sanitation, and safety standards; Assist with inventory counts, par levels, receiving, and organization; Assist with scheduling inputs and labor awareness; Maintain professional appearance and communicate clearly with guests and teammates.

Requirements

Prior restaurant serving experience required; Strong knowledge of service standards, guest recovery best practices, and responsible alcohol service; Comfortable operating POS systems and handling basic cash/close procedures; Knowledgeable in basic health/safety and employment policy practices; ServSafe/Food Handler and responsible alcohol service certification (or ability to obtain); Meets legal age requirements to serve alcohol in Colorado; Self-starter with calm, even disposition in a fast-paced environment; Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills; Able to maintain order and control while supporting a warm, elevated hospitality experience; Team-first mindset; Able to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods; Able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 lbs (occasionally more with assistance); Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice to have

Previous lead/supervisory experience (strongly preferred); Hotel food & beverage experience (a plus)
