In collaboration with the Police, you'll serve in custody suites, delivering healthcare to detainees.

Responsibilities

Deliver healthcare to detainees in custody suites in collaboration with the Police; Ensure safety of detainees with round-the-clock coverage in custody suites; Work flexibly across assigned region in Police Custody Suites and Force area; Provide exemplary care; Aid some of society's most vulnerable individuals

Requirements

Certified nurse or paramedic; Minimum of two years' post-qualification experience in a patient-facing role within a relevant clinical setting (e.g., A&E, General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Acute Medicine, Prison Healthcare, or Ambulance Service); Ability to deliver high-quality care, work under pressure, and manage diverse clinical situations; Driving license; Flexibility to work not only in base custody suite but across an assigned region in Police Custody Suites and Force area; RN, RGN or RMN with dual registration: 2 years post qualification - Band 5 minimum; Paramedic: 2 years post qualification; Right to work in UK, British Passport or ILR for 3 years+ with no gaps out of country more than 3 months; Subject to Police Vetting
