Founding Product Builder, Operations

Odin is building the investment infrastructure for private markets, with a full-stack platform for launching and running private investment firms, covering legal structuring, investor onboarding, KYC/AML, payments, tax, reporting and exits. The role is a product role where the product is how Odin operates: operational problems land with the hire, who decides what gets fixed and ships most fixes personally. The company is post-PMF, rolling out fund admin and US geography, and aims to move from around 700 deals a year to 7,000 by automating human-driven services workflows into software. Hiring process: a call with the Head of People, an in-person session with the founders solving a real Odin problem end to end with AI, then a final with the founders. Based in London with at least three days a week in the office.

Responsibilities

Triage every operational problem before it reaches product and engineering, then either scope it precisely for engineering or build it yourself; Reduce cost per deal by ripping out whole processes and making many small efficiency changes; Automate deal operations workflows by learning each workflow end to end and building what replaces it; Decide what belongs in processes and what doesn't, saying no to requests that don't scale or aren't highly profitable, and killing ways of working that exist for no good reason; Lead the core deal operations team and decide where their time goes while rebuilding the work around them

Requirements

Clear evidence of having built real solutions with AI with no budget and no engineers, at work or in their own time; Experience shipping solutions in Claude Code or similar; Founder or product background (founded something, early on a founding team, or worked as a product manager), usually four or more years of experience and a track record of finishing what they start; Systems thinker who questions why processes exist and looks for the smallest, simplest system that achieves the goal; Detail-oriented and on top of things, closes loops and pushes hard to get things done; Numerate, comfortable with financial mechanics and strong mental arithmetic; Willing to share a link to something (or things) they've built with AI when applying

Nice to have

Regulated financial services background in fund administration, custody, payments, brokerage, audit, tax or another back office function
