Front Office Supervisor

First impressions are everything! As a Front Office Supervisor, you will take care of the guests from the moment they arrive through to their departure by ensuring they have a memorable experience with us.

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to)

- Frequent standing and walking throughout shift

Responsibilities

Greet, check-in, respond to requests and settle accounts while providing exceptional service; Take initiative to add a personalized experience; Proudly promote the hotel facilities, looking for opportunities to enhance a guest’s stay through up-selling; Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service; Supervise and train the Front Desk Agents to ensure all Fairmont standards and operating procedures are adhered to; Handle guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying proper areas; Follow department policies, procedures and service standards

Requirements

Previous guest service experience required; Previous Property Management System experience required; Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required; University/College degree in a related discipline an asset; Must possess a professional presentation; Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities; Highly responsible & reliable; Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment; Ability to work cohesively as part of a team; Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times; Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays
