General Neurology - Full Time NP/APP

Atrium Health’s Neurosciences Institute – Neurology seeks a qualified Neurology Advanced Practice Professional (PA/NP) to join our outpatient team and provide care to patients at Atrium Health Neurology Lincoln. The APP would treat the full scope of general neurology patients in our outpatient clinic.

Responsibilities

Treat full scope of general neurology patients in outpatient clinic; manage 12-16 patients per day with consults, follow-ups, hospital follow-ups, and procedures including botox for migraine; participate in education of learners including APPs, students/APP fellows, nurses, and new clinical teammates; collaborate with operational leaders and stroke program coordinator to support transition of care initiatives; provide patient-centered care in an environment focused on community health

Requirements

2+ years of experience as APP required; strong clinical knowledge base; ability to see patients autonomously with support from onsite APPs, onsite rotating subspecialists, and virtual neurologists; driven with passion for innovation, education, and collaboration

Nice to have

experience in Neurology strongly preferred; academic desire
