Hair Stylist

Join Regis Corporation as a Stylist. The Stylist is responsible for serving clients in a friendly, professional way, understanding that clients and their satisfaction are of the utmost importance. The Stylist follows the principles of customer service and applies techniques effectively, creatively, and with efficiency, using strong consultation procedures to exceed clients' expectations. Salon may be operated by a Regis Corporation affiliate or independently owned and operated by a third party.

Responsibilities

Provide quality services by consulting with clients and applying the appropriate service techniques; recommend and participate in all approved local marketing initiatives; educate clients about proper home hair care and recommend services and products; employ best practices for customer service, ensuring each client’s satisfaction and building client loyalty; provide quality consultations with each client, including stating the final price before the service begins; complete all required administrative tasks promptly; communicate effectively and positively with all clients, team members, leaders, and the corporate support team; meet or exceed productivity standards set by Regis; perform all services offered at the salon; maintain flexibility in scheduled shifts including potential night and weekend shifts; attend all required technical training sessions; follow Regis policies and salon specific operational procedures

Requirements

Cosmetology License (Required); valid, current cosmetology or barber's license; work as a team-player and/or independently; market yourself in the community and salon to increase clientele; exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; consistent and excellent customer service skills; ability to multi-task efficiently; willingness to learn new techniques and stay current with hair trends; physical requirements including bending, sitting, twisting, turning, lifting generally 10-15 pounds, and standing for extended periods; must maintain a valid cosmetology or barber's license or be 90 days or less from graduating; must complete assigned training as determined by Regis; Supercuts Stylists/Stylists-in-Training must participate in the Hair Stylist Academy program and receive a certificate of completion
