Hair Stylist

The Stylist will accomplish this by following the principles of customer service and applying techniques effectively, creatively, and with efficiency. Utilizing strong consultation procedures to ensure that all clients’ expectations are exceeded is part of a Stylist’s commitment when you become a Regis team member.

Responsibilities

Provide quality services by consulting with clients and applying appropriate service techniques; Recommend and participate in all approved local marketing initiatives including coupon campaigns, seasonal initiatives, and client appreciation events; Educate clients about proper home hair care and recommend services and products to maintain hairstyle between salon visits; Employ best practices for customer service, ensuring each client's satisfaction and building client loyalty; Provide quality consultations with each client, including stating final price before service begins; Complete required administrative tasks (closing out a ticket on POS system and scheduling appointments) promptly; Communicate effectively and positively with clients, team members, leaders, and corporate support team; Meet or exceed productivity standards set by Regis; Be willing and able to perform all services offered at the salon; Maintain flexibility in scheduled shifts to fit business needs, including potential night and weekend shifts; Attend all required technical training sessions; Follow Regis policies and salon specific operational procedures

Requirements

Cosmetology License (Required); Valid cosmetology or barber's license (or 90 days or less from graduating); Complete assigned training as determined by Regis; Participate in Hair Stylist Academy (HSA) program and receive certificate of completion; Work as a team-player and/or independently; Market yourself in the community and salon to increase clientele; Possess exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; Exhibit consistent and excellent customer service skills; Multi-task efficiently to complete salon duties; Show willingness to learn new techniques and stay current with hair trends; Meet or exceed productivity standards set by Regis; Maintain flexibility in scheduled shifts to fit the needs of the business, including potential night and weekend shifts; Attend all required technical training sessions; Follow Regis policies and salon specific operational procedures; Physical requirements may include bending, sitting, twisting, turning, lifting (generally 10-15 pounds), and/or standing for extended periods
