Head of AI Efficiency

Role Summary: This role requires deep, working expertise in how corporate real estate is managed and delivered on an outsourced account, not a strategic overview from a distance. The person needs to know how facilities operations, construction delivery, lease administration, transaction management, and occupancy planning actually run day to day. Every AI recommendation this role makes will be judged on whether it holds up against that operational reality. Structure: Structured as a two-in-a-box with the JLL account team managing an existing client relationship, partnered with a client-side counterpart of equivalent seniority. Both sides jointly own AI prioritization and outcomes for the account. Core Mandate: The Head of AI Efficiency owns turning central AI capabilities and citizen AI into a single, prioritized, measurable program aligned to the outcomes JLL and the client have jointly agreed to. Scope: The role spans facilities management, project management, lease administration, transaction management, and occupancy planning.

Responsibilities

Measure rigorously and own ROI, establishing a baseline and a single consolidated ROI view across the full scope; Coordinate and prioritize one ranked view of central and citizen AI activity aligned to the jointly agreed client objective; Manage citizen AI, enabling account teams to build while managing shadow-IT risk, duplicated tooling, and data exposure, and deciding what is adopted or retired; Own the take-to-production motion, moving ideas from concept to deployed, measured impact; Influence and coordinate existing operational teams across all five business lines to adopt and sustain the program; Partner with delivery functions through JLL's technology organization and business line leadership to roll out capabilities programmatically; Align every prioritization decision to the joint client objective

Requirements

10+ years in commercial real estate, with direct, working exposure to facilities management, project management, lease administration, transaction management, and occupancy planning; Demonstrated program management at an executive level, with a track record of influencing outcomes across teams that don't report to you; Cross-functional communication, bridging technical expertise and non-technical business stakeholders; Working fluency in how AI and agentic AI evolve and get deployed against end-to-end business processes; Proficiency in data literacy, including how data is sourced, cleaned, and checked for quality; Comfort operating in a two-in-a-box structure with joint JLL/client accountability; Process reengineering; Continuous improvement discipline (kaizen or equivalent); Six Sigma / DMAIC or equivalent rigor; AI/ML and cloud tooling fluency relevant to the account's environment; Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
