Head of Operations (MCA / Alternative Lending)

We are seeking an experienced Head of Operations to join a fast-growing company in the merchant cash advance (MCA) industry. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead a team of five operations professionals (three onshore and two offshore), optimize core business processes, and help scale the company's operational infrastructure in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of five operations professionals.

- Oversee daily operations, including deal processing, payments, reporting, and workflow management.

- Manage operational systems, software integrations, and third-party vendors.

- Troubleshoot operational and system issues to ensure business continuity.

- Identify opportunities to improve, automate, and scale operational processes.

- Develop and maintain operational documentation and best practices.

- Partner with leadership to optimize operations and implement new technologies when beneficial.

- Evaluate the existing technology stack and recommend improved systems or processes where appropriate.

Technology Environment
You'll work with a technology stack that includes:

- Lend SaaS (CRM)

- MoneyThumb

- DataMerch

- HyperVerge

- Additional integrated operational tools and third-party platforms
Experience with these specific tools is not required, but candidates should be comfortable working across multiple systems, managing software integrations, and collaborating with third-party vendors.

Requirements

Proven experience leading operations teams in a fast-paced environment.; Experience in the merchant cash advance (MCA), alternative lending, fintech, or similar financial services industry is strongly preferred.; Demonstrated success improving processes and scaling operational functions.; Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.; Hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategic thinking and day-to-day execution.; Comfortable working across multiple operational systems, software integrations, and third-party platforms.; Experience evaluating and implementing process improvements and operational technologies.; Startup or high-growth company experience is a strong plus.
