Head of People

This is a really exciting opportunity to become the Head of People for a fast growing and hugely dynamic bar group. The brand is fun, ambitiously forward thinking, and has a good reputation in the marketplace. They have a strong people culture and want to enhance this even further with the appointment of a Head of People. The Head of People role is all-encompassing, reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with the Sales Director, Finance Director and Head of Operations. As a new role in the business, this is an amazing opportunity to join at a time where you will be responsible for creating the overall strategy; leading and developing the culture, training and values of the business. The business is already people-focused but is looking to bring in new ideas to assist with the upcoming growth phases they are entering.

Responsibilities

Developing and delivering a commercially viable best in class people strategy; Create retention, recruitment and training processes to facilitate rapid growth; Delivering on KPIs agreed with the Board; Recruitment, training, retaining and managing your team; Living and breathing the values of the business

Requirements

Demonstrable track record of leading a people strategy at this level; Comfortable setting a new people agenda with solid recruitment and training to create the culture, and roll it out across a business; Proven HR specialist and a good all-rounder; Proven HRBP if first time Head of People appointment; Comfortable multi-tasking; Able to work in a fast paced environment needing quick results; Calm under pressure; Good at relationship building with all stakeholders; Open and honest in all communication with the MD and peers
