Head of Project & Development Services

The Senior Director takes total responsibility for developing and implementing strategic plans and initiatives aligned with organizational goals, guiding teams to achieve outcomes that exceed client expectations and meet JLL's commercial objectives. The role is on-site in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives aligned with organizational goals; analyse market trends and identify growth opportunities; oversee the success of major projects; provide leadership and motivate teams; set performance goals and provide feedback; manage budget and financial resources where needed, working with the country head or account head; identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, or collaborations; build and maintain relationships with investors, customers and partners; identify and manage financial, operational and reputational risks; monitor organizational and team performance; attract, retain and develop talent, including recruiting, hiring and training; maintain strong relationships with clients by identifying their needs, requirements and constraints; manage project revenue and payment cycles; support the preparation of proposals; build a network of professional consultants to deliver project scope; handle contract administration of all vendors in line with legal requirements; identify project risks and mitigate them

Requirements

Degree in any construction-related discipline; at least 15 to 20 years' experience in design, construction or project management; deep understanding of the legal environment for projects in respect to planning, commercial aspects, and delivery; technology-savvy; superior communication skills; ability to engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders; driven to succeed; structured and organised approach; thrives under pressure and tight deadlines
