We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Chilled & Fresh division – from supplier to shelf, we make fresh supply chains simpler. Our expertise in temperature-controlled logistics ensures products are delivered safely, efficiently and on time, helping customers maximise availability and minimise waste.

We’re looking for professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our Culina Chilled & Fresh team in Washington, supporting our Chilled operation and delivering to key retail customers across the UK.

This is a permanent role offering full-time stability for HGV Class 1 drivers who will be responsible for RDC, Farms and Packhouse deliveries. This role is ideal for a HGV driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service and dependable delivery standards. You’ll be joining a supportive transport team where safe driving, reliable service and high professional standards are valued every day.

Shift patterns available

- Sunday to Thursday (Start window 00:01 - 04:00)
- Sunday to Thursday (Start window 02:00 - 06:00)
- Tuesday to Saturday (Start window 02:00 - 06:00)
- Friday to Monday (Start window 00:01 - 04:00)

Pay rates

- Pay rates range from £13.50 - £21.91 per hour depending on shift, plus opportunity for overtime and subsistence allowances

Requirements

Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises across the UK.; Complete nationwide deliveries of palletised goods to Regional Distribution Centres, Farms and Packhouses; Report to the Transport team at the start of each shift and keep them updated on delays, delivery issues or load discrepancies.; Complete all paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed and returned to the Transport Office.; Follow company procedures, including health, safety and hygiene standards.; Manage your working time in line with the Road Transport Directive and tachograph rules.; Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects correctly and take responsibility for your unit and trailer, including temperature checks where required.; Maintain a professional standard of behaviour, appearance and customer service at all times.
