We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Transport Logistics division– as one of the UK's most trusted transport specialists, we deliver flexible transport solutions backed by our nationwide network, industry-leading expertise and innovative technology. Our teams provide reliable, efficient and responsive services that help customers keep products moving and businesses growing.

We are recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 drivers to join supporting our operation in the Cumbria area, supporting collecting loaded trailers from a customer site and delivering to warehouses around Cumbria area. This role is ideal for a HGV driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service and dependable delivery standards.

The roles are full time, working on a permanent basis, Shift Pattern for this role is as below:

Pay Rates

We have increased our pay rates , with rates now ranging from £14.60 to £18.41 per hour , depending on shift – giving you even more reason to build your driving career with us.

- Mon-Fri Days - £14.60 per hour
- Saturday and Sunday Day Shift - £17.60 per hour
- Bank Holidays - £18.41 per hour.

On top of base salary our HGV Drivers will be entitled to £5 per shift tax-free meal allowance

Responsibilities

Friday to Monday Days 05:00-07:00; Collection of loaded trailers and delivery to Warehouse, requirement to Tip and drop trailers; Trailers are Pre-loaded at customer sites; Collection from docks for delivery to customer sites; Completing all necessary vehicle checks and documentation; Maintaining high levels of safety, compliance, and professionalism; Working closely with the transport team to ensure smooth operations; Adhere to Driver's hours, WTD, and tachograph legislation.

Requirements

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence; Valid Driver CPC qualification; Digital Tachograph Card; A professional and safety-focused approach; Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
