HGV Class 2 Driver

£35,362.00 a year plus overtime | Monday to Friday | Sociable hours (daytime) | 10-hour day

We are currently recruiting Class 2 Collection & Delivery Drivers to join our busy Crawley operation. This is a Monday–Friday, multi-drop role offering a competitive salary, modern vehicles, paid overtime.

You will be responsible for completing multi-drop collections and deliveries, ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with planned routes.

Responsibilities

Completing multi-drop collections and deliveries to customer locations; Accurate completion of paperwork and Proof of Delivery (PODs); Carrying out daily vehicle checks; Compliance with tachograph rules, drivers’ hours, and the Road Transport Directive; Ensuring vehicle and load security at all times; Maintaining high standards of health and safety

Requirements

Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence; Valid UK Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card; Good working knowledge of transport legislation and drivers’ hours; Strong communication skills and a professional approach; Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines; Multi-drop experience preferred, but not essential for the right candidate
