Responsibilities

Completing maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects, with project length ranging from two hours to two days; Making recommendations and managing expectations with customers about the scope of work and costs; Creating life-long customers by delivering a great experience and following the Mr. Handyman Way; Self-managing as you will be alone often; Speaking with customers and providing excellent customer service while asking for reviews and collecting payments; Resolving issues while maintaining value to the customer; Documenting the job status and creating detailed estimates

Requirements

Live within the area; Have 8+ years’ experience; Own your own tools; Be insurable for driving our vehicle; Complete a background and driving record check; Able to lift 50 pounds independently; Able to safely work at heights and work overhead for extended periods of time; Professional appearance and maintenance of company-provided vehicle; Self-manage when working alone; Provide excellent customer service while asking for reviews and collecting payments; Resolve issues while maintaining value to the customer; Document the job status and create detailed estimates; Wear proper PPE; Skills in rough and finish carpentry; Kitchen and bathroom remodeling; Siding trim replacement and repair; Door and window installation; Painting; Drywall work, minor and major repairs; Light plumbing and electrical; Floor installation; Tile and grout; Deck building; Fence repair
