HVAC Specialist

As an HVAC Technician, you will be mobile and use multiple trade skills to lead effective, efficient, and timely HVAC support in your assigned territory. Technicians will be provided a company vehicle, tools and equipment. Technicians should feel comfortable triaging HVAC needs but should also prioritize proper maintenance to reduce emergent needs.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and service on package and split HVAC systems; repair steam/hot water boiler systems and diagnose airflow/ducting issues; safely use refrigerants in compliance with EPA; diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, or system failures; complete maintenance/repairs per work orders and compliance; perform minor plumbing, painting, carpentry, and electrical maintenance; complete service and asset inspections; obtain materials and supplies; communicate timely and clearly with managers/staff; provide estimates for larger projects; demonstrate competency and provide excellent customer service

Requirements

HS diploma; RSI or comparable HVAC training; Up to date EPA card to handle refrigerant; Valid driver license and decent driving background; Minimum 3 years HVAC experience; Excellent communication skills especially around timelines; Experience obtaining quotes and making recommendations on project needs; Proven ability to be organized while quickly and efficiently problem solving; Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand/walk frequently; Successful completion of drug and background screening
