ICT Infra and Test Environment Engineer

The ICT Infra and Test Environment Engineer is responsible for designing, operating and improving the lab facility infrastructure and ICT test environments in Yokohama Lab. This is a technical, hands-on role with strong operational ownership and direct impact on R&D productivity.

Responsibilities

Lead the lab facility infrastructure domain for Yokohama Lab (power, cooling, environmental control, physical security); Plan, implement and operate power and cooling infrastructure to support current and future lab loads; Monitor infrastructure health, availability and performance; respond to incidents and coordinate corrective actions; Perform capacity planning and lifecycle management for lab infrastructure, including expansion and upgrades; Assess and manage risks related to power, cooling and physical security; contribute to change and risk management processes; Work closely with lab operations, ICT and R&D teams to ensure test environments are supported by robust infrastructure; Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for infrastructure equipment, services and maintenance; Suggest and drive infrastructure improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, efficiency and scalability

Requirements

Experience in power infrastructure management in data centers, IT rooms or lab environments; Knowledge of cooling and environmental control systems; Experience in capacity planning and infrastructure lifecycle management; Understanding of laboratory safety, compliance and physical security principles; Experience in risk and change management related to infrastructure operations; Hands-on experience with ICT or lab infrastructure operations and incident response; Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in technical environments; Good communication skills with engineers, operations staff and external vendors; Fluent in Japanese for local coordination; Business level English
