We are seeking a dedicated In-Villa Dining (IVD) Order Taker to join our luxury resort team in {NAME}, Maldives. As an IVD Order Taker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests enjoy exceptional dining experiences from the comfort of their villas.

Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls from guests and take accurate food and beverage orders; Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods; Assist guests with special dietary requirements or food allergies; Input orders into the resort's point-of-sale system with precision; Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely delivery of orders; Handle guest inquiries and requests related to in-villa dining services; Upsell additional items and promote daily specials when appropriate; Maintain a thorough knowledge of all menu items, pricing, and promotions; Ensure all orders are accurately recorded and billed to the correct villa; Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards

Requirements

Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written; Previous experience in hospitality or customer service (preferred); Proficiency in using computer systems and point-of-sale software; Strong knowledge of food and beverage items, including dietary restrictions and allergies; Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; Excellent time management and organisational skills; Food safety certification (preferred); Understanding of luxury hospitality standards and guest expectations; Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; Willingness to work in a tropical island environment; Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team
