Industrial Mechanical Engineer / Crane Engineer (4-8 years)

Coffman Engineers is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Industrial Mechanical Engineer/Crane Engineer to support and lead various crane projects for clients in the aerospace, military, energy, private, and manufacturing sectors. This role is aligned with our hybrid work schedule; with the appropriate experience and based on business needs.

Qualifications

Salary range: $85,000-$100,000

Responsibilities

Engineering and design tasks for crane refurbishment and replacement projects; Technical lead and calculation development responsibilities; Team coordination and multidisciplinary management; Site visits, construction support, load testing

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline; SolidWorks proficiency preferred; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; Minimum 4 years of crane or heavy machinery engineering experience; Proven success supporting a highly performing engineering team; Excellent communication and leadership skills; Availability to travel occasionally to site visits and client meetings; Effective technical writing and communication skills; Excellent time management skills; A positive attitude with a focus on team and client success
