Responsibilities

Design, architect, and oversee end-to-end integration solutions across enterprise platforms, applications, and external systems; Lead the development and governance of APIs, middleware solutions, and event-driven architectures to ensure scalability, performance, and resiliency; Architect and support real-time, near real-time, and asynchronous integrations using modern integration patterns and messaging frameworks; Collaborate closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to ensure seamless connectivity between systems and services; Design and implement integrations for industrial machines, IoT platforms, and edge systems, ensuring secure and reliable data ingestion and processing; Establish integration standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines to ensure consistency and long-term maintainability; Ensure system integrations meet high availability, performance, security, and compliance requirements; Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues, providing architectural guidance and root-cause analysis; Evaluate and recommend integration technologies, tools, and frameworks aligned with business and technical strategy

Requirements

7-10+ years' experience in integration architecture; Strong expertise in APIs, middleware, event-driven systems; Experience with industrial machines / IoT (important); Ensure robust and real-time system integrations; On-site presence in Kinston, NC 3 days/week
